How long do we keep your personal data?

Your Niutik account. Your account is your digital identity in Niutik; it’s how we ensure your ticket purchases are secure and linked to a real person. It is also the main basis for determining how long we retain your data.

Each time you purchase a ticket, log in to your account, or interact with us, we record this activity. As long as your account remains active, we will continue to retain the information we have processed about you. For example:

  • We will retain your purchases or favorites so that we can recommend relevant events;
  • We will keep your tickets assigned to you so that we continue to offer events to real fans; and
  • We will keep your account validated and secure.

Your data will be deleted if (1) you request the deletion of your account, in which case your account and associated information will be deleted within a maximum of 90 days, and in any case within the period established by applicable local laws; or (2) your account has been inactive for 7 years.

In addition to this account-based rule, the retention of your data is also determined based on the following grounds:

  • To provide you with the services you have requested. For example, when you purchase tickets or services from us, we cannot delete your account while you have a pending event, as you would not be able to attend the event you purchased.
  • When a law requires us to retain your data. For example, if you have provided us with details about your accessibility needs, if you withdraw your consent for this processing, we will delete that information.
  • When we have processed certain data with your consent. For example, if you have provided us with details about your accessibility needs, if you withdraw your consent for this processing, we will delete that information.
  • Security and protection. We also retain limited information in independent databases to keep our platforms safe and secure, e.g., to detect and prevent fraud, strengthen cybersecurity protections, and enforce our terms and any attempts to circumvent them.

When our retention periods are triggered, we may:

  • Securely delete the information; or
  • Anonymize the information. For example, when we want to report year-over-year sales, we retain the sales information but remove any data linking sales to buyers.

Security of Personal Information

We take reasonable security measures to protect your personal information against loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee that your personal information will not be subject to unauthorized access.

In compliance with EMVCo, MasterCard, VISA, and the European PSDII Directive, during the electronic payment operation, information regarding the session connection will be communicated to the card-issuing bank to validate the payment operation performed by the user.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in our privacy practices. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the revised Policy on our website.
